Deplasticificator
The presence of plastic in compost can be a major problem if efficient sorting of organic waste has not been achieved prior to composting. Bonera Ecologia manufacture a machine specifically to address this problem. Typically when screening compost or solid municipal waste 70 to 80% of plastic is removed and nearly 100% of stones. Remaining plastic pieces are usually very small and less problem to the product.

The Deplastificator is mounted on it's own trailer for mobility between sites and on site, being stabilised by 4 jacks during operation. For transport the body of the machine is lowered to the horizontal. Power for operation is by electric motors. |
| Material is fed onto the inclined screening conveyor and is subject to aspiration from both horizontal and vertically inclined 7.5kw fans. Large inspection windows facilitate setting and operation. Power to screen is 3kw and feed separator is 5.5kw giving a total requirement of 23.5kw. |
