Chaff Spreaders     

The REKORD Chaff spreader means improvements for your next harvest.

Two types of chaff spreader are available, the rotary plate version described on this page is constructed to retro fit onto most combine harvesters, and the new technology chaff conveyor which is specific to some of the latest combines being produced and forms part of the new Combi System.

The Rekord plate type chaff spreader has many advantages over other makes of conventional spreader.  The chaff is spread towards both sides, being thrown and blown by a strong air stream. The spreading width is sufficient for the largest cutting bars. The new construction does not interfere with the normal sieve function but it helps by keeping a stable air stream.

Working mode :-  The chaff spreader is mounted behind the sieves and set in a forward position when in working mode. The wastage from the sieves is spread with the chaff.  The chaff spreader is held in position with two adjustable dampened springs.

Hydraulic Drive :-  The chaff spreader is driven hydraulically and each rotor plate has it's own hydraulic motor. The oil supply comes from a separate hydraulic pump with it's own hydraulic tank equipped with a filter. The hydraulic pump is driven from the threshing mechanism with a belt. Power requirement is less than one kilowatt.
