There are two ranges of agricultural Chopper Shredders the TSN and TSE

The10 models in the  heavy duty TSN Universal Straw Chopper range are tractor mounted and require from 40 to 60 HP with the TSN 160 up to 130 to 180 HP with the TSN 560. ( model number representing the cutting width in cm. One of the TSN's secrets of success is in the large diameter rotor shaft which gives a high peripheral  knife speed without high rotor speed. The result is improved cutting efficiency and reduced rotor wear. They are extremely reliable and versatile.

Models 320/420/480/560 have end tow for transport, as illustrated by the TSN 320 pictured to the left, they also have very heavy duty headstocks.
Models 160/200/230/250/280 are for tractors from 40 to 100 HP but with equally robust rotor and knives. The model pictured to the right is a TSN 200.
The 0ption pictured to the left is a mulching hood and pictured to the right is a side skid which gives more precise ground following for very low cutting heights.

There are blade options to best suit particular applications. The universal and straight blades rotate between two banks or static blades. Other blade types closely cut past two static shear bars.

The universal blade to the left is ideal for stubbles, rough grass, light scrub or prunings. The straight blade to the right is a specialist straw chopping blade for swaths but will also handle light scrub and prunings.
The L blade to the left is the best option for cutting grass close to the ground and will deal with prunings etc but the hammer blade to the right is best where heavy prunings or strong scrub is involved.
To the left is the two part shovel blade and to the right the specialist potato blades for defoliating over the ridges.   Please contact Rekord to discuss your needs.

In the TSE range there 5 models 140/160/200/230/250. These are designed to suit the smaller to medium sized farm or where a lighter weight is required.
