Rekord pioneered the world's first combine mounted straw chopper over 40 years ago. Over the years we stayed at the forefront of Straw Chopper design and held the lion's share of the market until combine manufacturers included them in their overall design. Nowadays components are supplied to many of the manufacturers  and we supply complete choppers and chaff spreaders to the replacement and retrofit markets.   Over 20 years ago we also commenced selling tractor mounted heavy duty chopper - shredders which have proved suitable for many applications. As a benefit of many years experience the very well engineered Cabe Universal Shredders continue to set the highest standard and are used widely for not only chopping and spreading swaths of all crop types but also haulm removal from potato and other vegetable crops prior to lifting.  Shredding scrub and briars in rides, grass and pruned branches in orchards and cutting down long stubbles and set aside areas are other popular applications.
