Self Propelled Diet Feeders
Today's Stock Farmer needs specialised machinery that is time saving, reliable and cheap to run. Seko have designed their self propelled diet feeders to precisely meet this need. Their designs provide rapid and precise chopping and mixing, working economy both in terms of operation, maintenance and life also combining operator comfort and simplicity of control with complete reliability. This is the result of their 30 years experience in design and their excellent quality controls in manufacture.
There are Sam 4 Self models in a range of sizes from 11 to 20 cubic metres capacity.

The modern cab is well positioned with a large glass area and controls are in easy reach from a comfortable seat with readouts well positioned including the weigher. Heating system or full Air Conditioning may be specified. |
| The Perkins diesel engines power both the hydrostatic transmission with differential lock and also hydraulic motors for all functions of the machine. The well sprung front axle and carefully balanced machine contribute to a very comfortable and stable ride with road speeds up to 40 KPH. |

These self propelled machines are available with similar options as the tractor drawn models but all 4 wheel models include Seko's advanced Silage Tiller and a popular format is the Sam 4 Self Propelled Vulcan which incorporates Seko's Vulcan Blower System enabling the additional function of bedding from the feed passage after shredding the straw to required length.
