The elevator is powered normally by electric motor but optionally by petrol engine.
| The addition of an electric wheel-drive unit enables the complete elevator to travel automatically to and fro through a pre-set arc. This ensures that the crop is spread evenly and gently across the full face of the heap. |

Loading crops into store or into a bulker can be achieved
more gently and efficiently when a swinging head is attached to the
discharge end of the elevator. This hydraulically driven unit allows the
crop to be spread more evenly over the face of the heap or into the body
of the bulker. The swing can be controlled either automatically, through
an arc covering approximately 3.0m, or the automatic swinging mechanism
can be over-ridden to enable the operator to manually position the
swinging head to fill one specific area. |
| Where the elevator is used to handle potatoes, onions and other such crops fed from a tipping trailer, a full width hopper complete with marker posts, soil sifting grid and removable crop containing boards is available. |
