Flying Dutchman

The Flying Dutchman Industrial Bin Unloader system consists of a powered discharge with central shaft extending up the centre of the hopper. This shaft is fitted with chains of different lengths with end hammers that rotate with a small clearance inside the hopper cone when fully extended by centrifugal force. Initially they hang down and wrap around the shaft but as the unloading progresses they extend outwards to cut away bridged material from the hopper cone.

Various alternatives are available at the discharge, from straight out and down for drive under units, to angled or horizontal augers which can be multi screw and multi directional.

There are three basic sizes of hopper unloaders and also a model designed to unload flat bottom silos from 18 to 30 feet diameter.

The Flying Dutchman features a patented interior flow control. Operating manually from outside, adjusting to any kind of material, gives you even unloading and better flow of material.

Model 2003 - Shaft Size 2 inches:-

For bins from 6 to 9 feet in diameter - Stem extends upward 6 feet 2 inches.
Central post rotates at 104 RPM approx - Requires 1.5 HP motor.
Drive by belt and roller chain - 24.5 inch min. under-bin clearance required.
Model 2003 has a variable gate flow control opening.

Model 2004 - Shaft Size 2 inches:-

For bins from 6 to 9 feet in diameter - Stem extends upwards 6 feet 8 inches.
Central post rotates at 104 RPM approx - Requires 1.5 HP motor.
Drive by belt and roller chain - 19 inch min. under-bin clearance required.
Model 2004 has a variable slide gate opening.

Model 3005 - Shaft Size 3 inches:-

For bins from 10 to 16 feet in diameter - Stem extends upwards 10 feet.
Can be used in some 18 feet diameter bins.
Central post rotates at 80 RPM approx - Requires 7.5 HP motor.
Drive by belt and roller chain - 54 inch min. under-bin clearance required.
Model 3005 has a variable gate flow control opening.
Comes equipped with a large discharge opening for faster material delivery.

Totally Sealed Discharges:-

Horizontal or angled, discharge can be single screw-single direction or multiple screw- multiple direction.
